Sir , you have opened your heart out ... always Gingee area should be considered as Trek ..... Not as a trip ... i made a visit in December 2008 .. even in the month of December i could not tolerate the heat .. I almost started at the same time of you .... some how i managed to reach the top .... there was a college group visited the place ...after coming back , i felt weak ... could not find a place for a decent lunch ... found a place not so hygienic over there .... had quick bite of some parottas ( i remember) .. then i did a stupid thing ... i started climbing the opposite Krishnagiri hills ... half the way i almost gone in to heat exhaustion ... some college students gave me some support .. some how reached the Krishnagiri fort ( ranikottai) top ... not so impressive .... learnt a great lesson .. Gingee forts should not be planned in a single day .... it is been 8 years ..Hope the government might have placed some railings to go to the top ... they can place atleast a decent hygienic canteen over there .. these are all my points ... please see my album here https://goo.gl/photos/vqs3nsUfjMUBfXPL7
